The Ring in Concert | CANCELLED

Experience the groundbreaking psychological horror classic accompanied by a live orchestra performance of Hans Zimmer’s chilling score, conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams.

TEG Dainty and Paramount Pictures present The Ring in Concert, a live-to-picture orchestral event coming to Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne this October and November. Gore Verbinski’s genre-defining film plays on the big screen while a full orchestra performs Zimmer’s haunting music in perfect sync – every unsettling note landing with new intensity.

The story follows journalist Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts), drawn into a terrifying investigation after the mysterious death of a teenage girl. At the centre of it all: a videocassette filled with disturbing images, and a phone call that follows every viewing – a voice whispering a single warning. *Seven days.*

In the original soundtrack liner notes, Hans Zimmer describes his minimalist, disquieting approach as the engine of the film’s creeping dread. Heard live, that score gains a visceral, physical presence – deepening the atmosphere in ways a cinema speaker system simply cannot replicate.

First released by DreamWorks Pictures in 2002, The Ring reshaped modern horror and endures as one of the most influential psychological thrillers ever made. This is your chance to experience it in an entirely new dimension.

The Ring in Concert | Cancelled

TEG Dainty wishes to advise that The Ring in Concert scheduled for October & November 2026, has been cancelled.

A message from the promoter:

‘Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the tour. The current environment for live touring remains incredibly challenging because fuel & other industry costs have risen significantly. On this occasion we weren’t able to make it work in a way that would allow us to deliver the show it deserves.

We know this is disappointing. As we approach the 25th anniversary of The Ring in 2027, we’re hopeful there will be more to share with fans in the not-too-distant future.’
